Hello & Merry Christmas!

Hi Everyone!
Yes, I'm finally back in CN after having been gone for 5 weeks for training and orientation. During this time, I am so sorry that I have not kept up with the blog because I was busy almost daily. It was a wonderful time to learn new things, especially in cross cultural matters. Also, I got a chance to run out and catch some of the holiday season in different contextualizations. As in the left pic, It was taken in Singapore and I went out to the local mall one evening after a day of meeting. The fact that Singapore is hot and muggy all year long, to get the christmas effect, they shot bubbles foam onto the fake tree to give it a snowy effect. Interesting! Kids loved it and they basically basked themselves in the bubbles and teenagers stood in front of the gigantic bubble gun to get wet. I can't say I enjoyed it quite the same. Top pic was one I captured one night when I went out to a historic area with the bunch of friends. That was one of our Irish colleague that's fuzzed up in the pic, interesting effect from the lights; and his shirt matched it. Hahaa!! My attempt to be a creative photographer, or not! To the right was in Hong Kong. They have a laser light show by the harbor each night at 8pm. It was not as manificent as I had expected. However, it was an 'experience' to be in the midst of the density in that city. It truly is a city that doesn't sleep, people all come out in mass at 4pm onward. I can't quite believe that was my birthplace and that I came from there. It was weird to be back to a place where I came from and not have a sense of familiarity to it.

At any rate, Christmas is next Thursday and I am back in time to experience it here. So far, it's been a time to recuperate and re-acclimate into the area. Honestly, I don't really feel the festivities around here, maybe it's just the fact that I haven't gotten out so much.

I thank all of you who have checked in and tell me that you keep up with my blog. I love all the emails and photos of your recent happenings. Please keep them coming. I miss all of you! I shall be back updating this from this point onwards. More photos to share soon!!

Merry Christmas!! May it be a joyous season for you and your families. Blessings!!
