Finally! I think we are getting a good language teacher

I just came back from the first class of this brand new semester and wow! I think we finally have a teacher who's fairly good. PTL! (and believe me, I've been praying for a good one to come along since last semester I had a trying start and journey in my language learning). So, this teacher is a young man who appears to have good commands of both the Chinese and English languages. He emphasizes Chinese but has the ability to speak English confidently and comfortably. No more guessing games and phrases being lost in translations, which happened quite a bit with the last teacher. She was teaching us one thing and often we would be on one track when in fact, she was actually on another. Then when she explained things to us, she explained it based on her assumptions on what she thought she heard from our questions. That was absolutely confusing and often I would get so tired and lost in the middle of the mess, my head would start hurting close to the end of class. But today, as it appeared, Mr. Zhang is able to hear us and correct us without going in circle. He displayed good leadership and direction. I'm quite impressed with him so far and actually we (all of us in class) are all quite pleased about having him as our teacher. Just thought it would be fun to be able to share a positive experience with you guys since many times, I've written about all the differences with a 'not so delightful' connotation to them. So, for once, I am happy to say 'This is a good thing'!!
