Problem: This writer did not have her visa for departure as of last Friday (due to the no-show of the needed paperwork from the school).
Goal: This writer will receive an approved visa before departure date with the goal to leave on Sunday (9/14) at 2:15pm.
Update: These last four days had been a flurry of travels back and forth to S.F (so much for being eco-conscious and saving on gas; put the foot to the pedal! burn baby burn on getting out to the consulate by 8:30am for its 9am opening; and 8:15am today since it will be closed tomorrow and Monday); a swirl of colorful emotions that I don't know how to fully express; but I maintained my 'cool' through out the four days ordeal. Therefore, I am thankful that I drew on the verses that provided the true and higher perspective; which essentially kept my emotions intact and helped me maintain on the right focus through this process.
Outcome: AFFIRMATIVE!! I 'finally' got the visa in hand at 4:15pm this afternoon (after 4 trying attempts to submit it) and will be leaving on Sunday afterall!!! Yea!!!
Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes that came my way. I deeply felt the loving support which generated much peace within and sustained me in tremendous ways. It's been a whirlwind of activities and emotions, and I am waiting upon this trial to slowly creep away and become a memorable moment instead. I just hope that there will not be a replay of this again.
